As National Communications Manager in India, Anwesha leads all communications and branding strategy and implementation for WorldBeing India.
Anwesha is a strategic communicator and storyteller who enjoys turning organisational intent into meaningful impact. With over fourteen years of experience, Anwesha brings both instinct and rigour to her craft. Her work has spanned behavioural change communication, stakeholder communication, media management, public relations, branding, campaign curation to management and the use of ICTs for development.
Prior to joining WorldBeing, Anwesha has worked with SaveLIFE Foundation, Bharti Foundation, Ipas Development Foundation; contributing across sectors including reproductive health, education, and road safety. She also played a key role in the Sadak Suraksha Abhiyan (SSA) led by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, as part of the core communication team.
Anwesha's academic foundation is rooted in Tezpur University, where she earned a Master's in Mass Communication & Journalism. Her specialisations in Journalism and Multimedia Production gave her a multidisciplinary lens that continues to shape how she thinks about communication across platforms, audiences, and purpose.
